My Timpi Journey – A Timpi Community Story

⚔️ My Timpi Journey – A Timpi Community Story

Hi, I’m Johnolofs – a builder, a problem-solver, and someone who didn’t know a single Linux command before 2021.

Back then, I barely touched the terminal. I wasn’t from an IT background, and I certainly didn’t expect to one day manage servers, automate blockchain tasks, or run Docker containers like second nature. But when Timpi came along, something clicked—this was a mission worth learning for.

🚀 From Curiosity to Contribution

My Timpi story started before most people had even heard of it. I was active on Kadena, exploring projects launching on that chain, and that’s where I discovered Timpi’s very first IDO on KDLaunch. It immediately stood out. A decentralized search engine? A real use case with real-world ambition? I knew I had to get involved. That was the spark that set everything in motion.

What followed was a deep dive into a world I hadn’t touched before—Linux, servers, blockchain infrastructure. I missed the old internet—before it became an ad machine—and Timpi???s mission to take back control resonated deeply with me.

That motivation pushed me to learn and contribute through:

• Linux and server administration

• Running a Neutaro validator

• Operating Guardian, Synaptron, and Collector nodes

• Learning Docker, Cosmos SDK, and Proxmox

• Creating automation scripts, relayer setups, and node performance tools

• Learned how to code Python and Bash

It wasn’t easy—but it was real, hands-on learning. I made mistakes, broke things, rebuilt them, and eventually built a full ecosystem of services around Timpi and Neutaro.

🛠️ What I’ve Built

Since starting, I’ve created tools and guides to help others:

• Automated IBC relayers between Neutaro, Osmosis, Gravity Bridge, and Oraichain

• A tax report generator that reads Neutaro transactions and outputs in Skatteverket format and other

• Scripts to monitor validator health, Guardian uptime, and node performance

• Tools to optimize pruning, reduce disk usage, and fine-tune archive and buffer node configurations

I’ve also contributed to validator structure discussions and continue to support community stability through shared scripts and advice.

🔥 Why I’m All In

What drew me to Timpi wasn’t just the tech—it was the vision. A decentralized, transparent, censorship-resistant alternative to the current internet giants.

Timpi’s NFT-based node licensing, its distributed search infrastructure, and its commitment to community involvement all show that this isn’t just a project—it’s a movement.

What excites me most right now:

• The upcoming GeoCore node expansion

• The growing potential of Wilson AI

• And seeing more people join Timpi, realizing they can contribute—no matter their starting point

I’m here to build, to help others, and to fight for a better web.

From not knowing Linux just a few years ago to helping others spin up their first nodes—I’ve lived the learning curve. And I’m still climbing.

John0’s out! Timplars ⚔️ Let’s keep building the future.
